If you've walked into a Starbucks in the last 5 years you may have noticed a picture like the one above on the window. Ours have subtle modifications which we think enhance the message. The stock sticker appears to be a vinyl window cling type, and a quick check in Photoshop reveals the font to be Arial or Arial Bold depending on the block. Not that anyone would make a window cling modification to do such a thing, despite "grow a beard" fitting perfectly over "be a partner."

We're not suggesting for a minute that beard evangelists create their own sticker which adds "sweet beards help" to the sign either. But as regular customers of Starbucks, we think they could do better next time. A couple of choice wording adjustments like those might just turn "tall" advertising into "venti Don Draper-worthy" genius.

Beardista may have a great ring to it, sure. But until the marketing team at Starbucks gets their act together don't take matters into your own hands by printing out modifications like this yourself using inexpensive and commonly available Clear Vinyl Decal Paper.
