Facial Hair Fridays is a weekly blog showcasing the history of the American beard. Rocking so many fantastic sweet beard pictures and headlines you'd think it was assembled by a contractor, rather than federal employees. Come to think of it, that's probably the case. Good job National Archives web contractors.Update: Received confirmation feds did in-fact produce said material! That makes one more year of (albeit begrudging) tax payments from this citizen slightly more tolerable to bear. I can only imagine there are several MLS holders in the house.

IFC has a new show coming out this August: Whisker Wars. Too bad they promote it as similar to Deadliest Catch and Ice Road Truckers, two programs which suck far more than growing a beard ever could.
