Worked all weekend, came in today on time and already it's been a rough day. The good news is that in the past two years or so that I've been shaving, my beard seems to have developed a little bit without my knowing it or seeing it, which is awesome! I've been taking a small array of supplements, to support my powerlifting... I take 2,000 miligrams of fish oil and 2,000 miligrams of flax seed oil a day, to facilitate recovery from lifting heavy and to manage inflammation; vitamin C I pretty-much shovel down, and Zinc as well, to help with keeping the testosterone up. Also, for testosterone support I take Resveritrol, which I order from Biotest (the folks behind T-Nation.com). Resveritrol (RES-V) is cool because it is an aromitase inhibitor, meaning, ostensibly, that it prevents your testosterone from being converted to estrogen (estrazidol -estrogen's ugly, fat sister) by aromitization. This is good, because it allows you to do more with the test you have ;-) I was an estrogen case, from lack of sleep, drinking too much and too much stress, before I began my weight-lifting program. I've since corrected this as much as I can, and my man boobs are gone and so is my gut. And I got a hell of a lot stronger. I'm hoping that the increase in free test, facilitated by the Zinc and the RES-V, will carry-over into better beard development this go-round. I also began taking biotin, with my miltivitamin in the morning. We'll see if this helps too.
