Total Bearding Network

[Permalink] Nov 21, 2012, 2:05:01 AM
As I'm sure the readers of SweetBeard are aware, the new season of Whisker Wars starts this Friday at 10. So grab a beer, chainsaw, and a steak. I'm not entirely sure why, but you never know when you'll need at least one of them. That's not the point, however. While a tv show about beards is sweet, I dislike the found footage, manufactured drama, hastily edited format that it and seemingly every other television show features of late. What I don't dislike in the slightest is the above. Total Bearding Network is clearly a giant commercial for Whisker Wars, but hey, it's a good commercial. We need more of that. It's almost Black Friday and I haven't consumed nearly enough stuff.

Crimes Against Hughs Manatees
You might remember Crimes Against Hugh's Manatees from The Beard Squid. Well, for your Tuesday morning, here's the mustache squirrel.

Movember Infographic

Movember is more than halfway over, which means a few things: Plenty of people have the creepier side of a beard already grown, needing only to backfill the remainder. Also, the infographics are coming. This one from Infolicious did the job, for instance. We won't claim growing a beard will cure cancer any better than growing a moustache will, but see our own science-based, non-partisan, envirionmentally-friendly graphic following the more "mainstream," "good looking" one from Infolicious.

Interesting points to be sure. But what of the beard? Clearly this is on a logarithmic scale so as to fit in limited space.

The evidence speaks for itself.
